Tory Burch Reva vs. Anne Klein Pierre

I was browsing and looking for flat shoes when I found these two. They look very very similar. The one on the left is Anne Klein’s Pierre (going for $88) and the other one is the Tory Burch Reva Flats (going for $195). Since flats are the fad these days, I’ve noticed that more and more designers are using such embelishments to make a statement.

Technomarine Jubilee

Twenty-ninth birthday coming up this week. As a birthday gift, I got myself this:

Rachel Zoe’s Must Have Shoes

Piperlime.com has posted Rachel Zoe’s (Former stylist for Britney Spears, La Lohan, and Nicole Richie), list of must have shoes. To read about it, go to this link.

Rachel listed down, five must haves: a timeless patent, a simple riding boot, a stunning red shoe, a fabulous flat, and a wild animal print.

I have a stunning red shoe, one of my favorites so far. I have turquoise flats from CMG that has super soft leather. I have python print flats that I got from Juan by Janilyn. I have black patent flats. So I guess the only thing missing is a simple riding boot, but with the weather in the Philippines, that is a question mark to me.

Redvanilla Laptop Bags

I got the idea for this find from a friend who recently got one for her MacBook. These stylish laptop bags for ladies are designed by the Manila-based company called Redvanilla. My friend got the faux croc design (and I think its yummy!), but I am personally taking a liking for the Boardroom (leather, third in picture, roughly $230). Doesn’t it remind you of the Mulberry Bayswater?

Sam Edelman Baxter

Patent leather is definitely in this fall season in the US. Most of the stores are now offering patent leather shoes in all forms. Shown above is Sam Edelman’s Baxter. I love how the hardware outshines leather.

LV Trevi vs. BR Filmore

If you can’ afford the fabulous New LV Trevi ($1460) but like the huge satchel’s dimensions (13.4″x 9.4″x 5.9″) and silhouette, Banana Republic’s Filmore is a great alternative. At a fraction of the price ($198), you can get (almost) the same look, including some of the size (12″ x 13″ x 3″), the double handles, the inside pockets, the monogrammed interior lining, as well as the removable strap. Also available in white (and snakeskin, too, for $100 more).
